Terms of service

1. Acceptance of the terms

By downloading, installing or using the Quini application or the playquini.com website (together, the "Service"), you accept these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. Quini is a product of Quinielero (the "Operator").

2. Description of the Service

Quini is an entertainment platform for creating football prediction pools with friends or with the community. The Service includes free and paid functionality.

3. Not a betting platform

Quini is not a bookmaker or gambling platform. Tokens inside the app are virtual currency with no monetary value outside the Service. There are no cash deposits, no withdrawals, and no real-money prizes awarded by Quini.

4. Registration and accounts

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account, or the minimum legal age applicable in your country.
• You agree to provide truthful information when registering.
• You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for the activity on your account.

5. Acceptable use

You may not:

• Use the Service for unlawful purposes.
• Create multiple accounts to manipulate results.
• Attempt unauthorized access to other accounts or systems.
• Harass, threaten or discriminate against other users in chats or messages.
• Use bots, scrapers or automated tools without explicit authorization.
• Organize real-money betting through the platform.

We reserve the right to suspend or delete accounts that violate these rules, without refund.

6. Purchases

• Purchases (PRO upgrades per pool, tokens, subscriptions) are processed by Apple, Google or Stripe.
• Prices may change; the applicable price is the one shown at the moment of purchase. List prices are in MXN and are charged in your local currency at checkout.
• Refunds for in-app purchases are requested directly from Apple or Google under their policies.
• Tokens are virtual, non-transferable, and not redeemable for real money.

7. User content

By posting content (pool names, chat messages, profile photos, logos), you grant us a non-exclusive license to display it within the Service.

You are responsible for the content you post. Offensive, sexual, discriminatory content, or content that infringes third-party rights, may be removed without notice.

8. Intellectual property

The "Quini" and "Quinielero" names, their logos, design and code are property of the Operator. No license is granted for use outside the Service.

9. Limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is". We do not guarantee 100% availability or absence of errors. We are not liable for loss of data, time, or competitive advantage derived from using the Service.

Score data is provided by a third party (API-Football). While we do our best to keep it accurate, we are not responsible for discrepancies with the leagues' official results.

10. Sports data

Team names, crests and match data belong to their respective owners (FIFA, UEFA, the leagues, the clubs, etc.). Quini uses them for informational purposes under third-party licenses.

11. Termination

You can delete your account at any time by writing to hola@quinielero.mx. We may suspend or terminate the Service with reasonable notice.

12. Changes to the terms

We may update these terms. Significant changes will be notified by email or inside the app. Continued use of the Service after changes implies acceptance.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Mexico. Any dispute will be resolved in the competent courts of the State of Jalisco, Mexico.
