How Quini
From zero to competing with your friends in a few minutes. Step by step: create your account, join a pool, make your picks, and set up one of your own.
Step 1
Create your account or log in
Open app.playquini.com in your browser — nothing to install — or download the app. Tap Sign up and register with your name, email and a password. That is it, you are in.
Already have an account (or the app)? Tap Log in and use the same email and password. Your account is the same on the web and in the app.
- It is free. We never ask for a card.
- Got an invite code from a friend? You can enter it when you sign up.
Step 2
Join a pool with an invite code
Invited by a friend? Go to Find pool and type the invite code they shared — or simply open the link they sent you.
Before joining you see the pool: name, game mode, competition, prize and how many players are in. If it all checks out, tap Join.
Some pools require approval: your button will say Request to join and the organizer has to accept you. We notify you as soon as you are in.
Step 3
Make your picks
Inside the pool, open the Predictions tab, fill in match by match and save. Depending on the game mode:
- Simple: pick who wins (or a draw).
- Advanced: call the exact score — nail it and you earn more points.
- Survivor: pick one team per round; if it loses, you are out.
In long tournaments, use the group and stage tabs (Groups, Round of 16, Quarter-finals...) to move between rounds. You can edit a pick right up until the match locks.
Step 4
The leaderboard and everyone else's picks
In the Standings tab you see where everyone sits. It updates by itself as results come in — nothing to capture by hand.
The part almost nobody knows: you can see everyone's picks
Until a match kicks off, picks are secret — nobody can copy you. The moment it locks, every pick in the pool is revealed: open any match from the standings and see exactly what each player played.
That is why the chat lights up as soon as the goals start rolling in — everyone already saw who called the 4-0 and who backed the wrong horse.
Step 5
Talk your talk in the chat
Every pool has its own chat to celebrate your hits, rub them in, and console whoever sits last. It is where the pool really comes alive.
Chat is available in PRO Max pools. If your pool does not have it, the organizer can upgrade the plan to switch it on.
Step 6
Create your own pool
Tap Create and the wizard walks you through it:
- Choose the competition (World Cup 2026, Premier League, Champions League...).
- Choose the game mode: Simple (1X2), Advanced (exact score) or Survivor.
- Give it a name, a logo and a prize, and tune the points per correct pick.
- Decide whether it is private or public and whether joining requires approval.
Save, and your pool is ready for invites.
Step 7
Invite your friends
Every pool has a 6-character invite code and a share link. Drop it in any chat and your friends are in within seconds.
If your pool requires approval, you will see the join requests and can accept or reject each one.
Step 8
Discover public pools
Nobody to play with yet? In Discover you will find pools open to everyone. Search by name or filter by game mode and league.
There is a bit of everything: free pools just for fun, pools with prizes, and some that cost tokens to enter. Every pool shows its rules before you join.
